rim size question

new rims and tires are on my list of things to do, even tho they are not my current priority. however, i see rim sets on craigslist all the time, so i thought it would be good to find out what size im looking for. can someone tell me what size(s) i would be looking out for, especially the lug pattern diameter? thanks!

Re: rim size question

for a 71 you'll be looking for a 15" or bigger rim with a 5 hole 5" lug pattern
