I declare it officially SPRING !!!!
Down here "close to Atl" ya know it's gettin' close to spring when the peep frogs start chirpin', and the outside cats start fightin', and that Pine pollen makes your truck look like a yellow cab !!!!
But the official begining of Spring is when you open that kick panel vent for the first time !!!!! I did it today comin' home from work,,,,,them dried up leaves comin' out of there looked like Easter flowers sproutin' from the ground !!!!! LOL Haven't opened the other side vent yet. Can't wait to see what pops outta there, maybe some money got stuck in there over the Winter and will start blowin' out $100 bills. Hey y'all It's Spring !!!!

Re: I declare it officially SPRING !!!!
That's the good thing about a yellow truck. Blends in nicely with the pollen.

My thermometer says 76º right now. That's almost 30º above normal for Iowa for this time of year. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining....... LockDoc

Re: I declare it officially SPRING !!!!
Wow, Douglasville, Villa Rica, and Bremen for me. At least I know someone else feels my pain when even the cars/trucks in the garage are yellow. That stuff is evil.

Re: I declare it officially SPRING !!!!
we had to pull the wagon full of sports gear over a 4 foot drift to get to the playground, but we skated, rode bikes, played bball and foot ball.. it was great!
I'm sore.

I think I've pulled enough oak leaves out of the vent to make a whole new tree!

Re: I declare it officially SPRING !!!!
Another sure sign of spring is that I got to go to my first dirt track race of the year at Thunder hill Speedway in Mayetta on Sunday afternoon/evening. They had the USMTS modified series with drivers from all over the midwest, 56 of them.
Yep, winter is over here...... Jeff
