Still looking for stock wheels

I am still in need of a set of 4 of 6 lug stock steel 15'"wheels that were used on 71-87 1/2 ton 4x4 trucks, blazers or burbs. Anybody got a set that they want to part with?

Thanks

Jeff

Re: Still looking for stock wheels

The clips should be '67 and '68 only. I need those to go with my '67 NOS caps...LOL!

Re: Still looking for stock wheels

They should fit on just about any 6-lug wheel, it is just that unless he uses the '67-'68 clip style caps he will have to run without. You can always just grind off the clips since they are held on by rivets. If you do...I would be happy to pay for shipping just to get them.

Re: Still looking for stock wheels

If stlookn needs the ones with clips go ahead and work something out with him. I prefer a set without clips, I would probably grind them off but that would be crazy.

Don't worry about hijacking this thread, if we can get stlookn the wheels he needs I will be happy with the other set.

What width were you looking for? I was thinking you wanted 8", those look a bit narrower...course it could be the angle of the pic.

Re: Still looking for stock wheels

The 8" wheels are really hard to find, but they really look good with the stock small dog dish hubcaps.
They have a deep offset, just like the ralleys. Here's one of CG's.
Oops...forget the other pic?

Re: Still looking for stock wheels

Im jumpin in for Jeff,he said the ones from the trucks with drum brakes front and rear wont work on his with discs on front. Now,what puzzles me about that is that mine with the clips are said to be off models with drums front and rear and they clear my calipers on my 4x4 front axle...so maybe they work, maybe they dont.
As for the width on the rims I have,I dont know off hand..

Re: Still looking for stock wheels

15x8's are what I was first after but I have had no luck finding those and I will be happy with the original width, which I believe should be 6".
From what I understand, the 6 lug wheels from 1970 back will not turn when they are bolted onto the front of a 71-87 4x4 as they will interfere with the calipers. Take a look at the pic below it shows the difference.

I think Dustin has a set for me but I sure appreciate you other guys replying about yours.

Thanks all,

Jeff
