Same ? No One Answered Last Time!
Since I'm putting a turbo 350 in place of my original 4spd the driveshaft will need to be shortened. but can I just go to a junk yard and find a 60-87 shortbed, auto truck and use that driveline with no mods?

I dont think so, but you never know. Measure what you need and go to the junk yard and see if any thing is close. Is yours to long? It might be more cost effective to bring it to a drive line shop and get it done right. My 2 cents anyway. Jeremy

I think its the short shaft turbo that would the same as the 3spd stick and maybe the power glide. Is yours a long or short turbo 350.

Re: Same ? No One Answered Last Time!
around here a brand new 1 piece driveshaft without telescopic joint is only $125 with new u-joints, $75 to shorten and balance a shaft. not really worth screwing around with it yourself in my opinion.
