Complete Suspension Front Ends
Does anyone make a complete front suspension kit like the Mustang II for our trucks??
They are a bolt in - crossmember, control arms, springs, shocks, rack and pinion, disks, and calipers all pre assembled kit that bolts straight to the frame..... I have seen them in the mags - but not for our trucks. Thanx

Re: Complete Suspension Front Ends
Look at the Porterbuilt Dropmember. There was a write up about it in Classic Trucks a month or two ago. It was designed for our trucks.
There is an M2 kit for our trucks, but it's about the same price as the Dropmember and not as nice. If you want REAL nice, look at the Corvette C4 Dropmember.

Re: Complete Suspension Front Ends
I know PorterBuilt makes a dropmember to bolt up to stock location and bolt parts on, but not any Mustang II setups, and I thought those were all weld in? I haven't read a rodding mag in years.
To see porterbuilts, just check the suspension forum, he has a few threads over there.

I'm pissed because I can't get mine for another few months. But I am doing front and rear at the same time. The C4 setup is bad ass.

Re: Complete Suspension Front Ends
Fatman Fabrications makes a bolt in MM II kit. Personally I would look at the Dropmember. It's set up as a bolt in, but you still have some mods to make the rack steering work.
If you want to go low with out a custom IFS, Porterbuilts dropmember is the hot ticket right now.

Re: Complete Suspension Front Ends
This is the kit I got from Fatman Fab. They call it bolt on in their adds but there is a little welding involved.

Re: Complete Suspension Front Ends
If you mean me and JimmyDean, there's no argument, just he posted one minute in front of me, while I was typing my response he snuck in.
Cypress, I got your PM, but I'll just post some links here for all to see. Porterbuilt is too rich for my blood, but very high quality and excellent outcomes. Here are the links, but I hope you like to read, as a few of them are a couple of pages long. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=201898 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=232519 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=229111 And his company's website is http://www.porterbuiltstreetrods.com/ I am wondering (for curiosity's sake) about the MII and other bolt on kits. lowrollin70gmc
