Cargo light

How hard is it to put on a cargo light if it wasn't originally an option. do you have to cut the cab? Found one today that was in pretty good shape and still had the on/off switch in the cab.

I think that Rockcrln did this and documented it pretty well, try doing a cargo light search or search through his posts for it. And yes you will have to cut the cab. On a side note, most people aren't aware that 69-72 cargo lights were also used as backup light housings on 69 RS camaros. That's why they have that big thick gasket on em, they weren't designed to be used on a truck to begin with.

Seeing that you have to cut the cab, why not go ahead a put in a combo 3rd brake & cargo light?
