Wheel tubs for stepside???

New here, seems to be a great forum. My first of probably many questions to come, does anybody make a wheel tub that installs on the inside of a stepside bed? Can a reproduction wheel tub from a fleetside be installed? Would prefer fiberglass, but steel would work. Trying to fit some wider tires under the back - figured a bolt in would be easier than trying to fabricate something.

Thanks for any suggestions and/or pics.

Re: Wheel tubs for stepside???

i have never seen tubs specifically made for our trucks, would love to see them made but they are real easy to make for the stepside

I dont have an answer for you. The fleetside tubs could be made to bolt in, though. Welcome to the board from Harford County!!

Re: Wheel tubs for stepside???

They aren`t ready-made.I`ve seen Fleetside wheel houses used. They should be narrowed, though. There`s no need to tub these trucks unless you`re narrowing the rear/back-1/2ing the frame.Wentz Motor Company in Danville,VA. makes fiberglass stuff like that. They set up at Carlisle.
