Scored big today while someone was spring cleaning
guy was cleaning up a storage lot and i seen a 67 swb there so i stopped in to chat he said he was going to throw away some stuff and if i wanted it to take it so i came up with a mint 67 drivers fender and hood then under a tarp i noticed a 68 cab got to chatting and he said he bought it b/c it was an a/c cab got to looking and it was in better shape then the cab on my truck by a long shot then he said give me about a week and ill be ready to get it out of my way and you can have it. Then he went on to tell me he has more stuff at a body shop thats in the way also and he would try to hook me up.
so instead of building up my 69 im going to use the 72 chassis ive got and build up the 68 cab. Cant wait till the wife finds out she'll probably flip ------------------ 1969 CHEVY C-10 LWB 305 3-SPEED 1972 CHEVY C-10 LWB PARTS TRUCK (DISC BRAKE DONOR)

I am confused if Alexmart is offering to take the truck parts or wife when she flips out....or maybe both....
This could be interesting. Jeff

hmmmm...there is an army green, 71-ish snb stepside gmc just like mine in a storage facility by my bank. Makes me wonder if i should hang around my bank more till the owner arrives and spring cleans(hehe)...nahhhh they would probably call the cops with the fact i would be loitering because i wouldnt have any money to deposit in my bank.hehe
