What is this option code? VK2-Tool & Storage Box

Can anyone tell me exactly what this option code is? -VK2 Tool & Storage Box

Is that the tool box on the side of the bed? Was that option only available on LWB trucks?

I think the answer to my real question is at the top of the SPID. It says 127" wheel base and the truck is a 115" now. Someones not telling the full story.

You`re right,Ken.This was a longbed-only option and that`s a SPID-label off a longbed.I`m thinking reconstructed and didn`t think to hide it by changing the glovebox door.

Re: What is this option code? VK2-Tool & Storage Box

The amusing part is it is proudly advertised with 20+ options and even lists the tool box. Nit being familiar with decoding SPID sheets I didn't think to look at that it obviously states it was a LWB

I sent an email to the guy asking to see the frame. We will see how or "if" he responds

Re: What is this option code? VK2-Tool & Storage Box

If he was saavy he would have thrown a chrome glovebox door on there and claimed it was an option.
