Help ID these Motor Mounts
OK I think that the one group are for the 350.
The other I think are the 72 only Tower for a Big Block. Tell me what you think.

you are correct the top ones are for a 72 bbc

no the wide flat looking ones in the top pic is the bbc mounts

Your bottom pic is a small block set. This is what the 68-71 big block sets look like.

The first pic would be what most people refer to as "Clam Shell" style.
I didn't think that style was available until 73, but i have been known to be wrong on occasion. Don't tell my wife i said that

thats right they clam shell werent available till later and the other towers appear to be for inline 6 and sbc

The top picture is indeed a set of 72 only big block mounts. They look similar to the 73 and newer mounts, but they have one raised rib. The 73 and newer have two raised ribs.

The 68-71 style just don't have a big hole ..they're designed different to allow for the exhaust manifold clearance in a BB engine application.
