What year van for tilt column

Just need to know what year chevy van's I should look for to do the tilt column mod. I searched and found nothing about the years

Just look and make sure the key is on the dash, not the column.

72 - 81, and some 82's were the old style too.

I'll jack this thread since the following question could be beneficial to him too...

Do the van tilts use the same internals as the truck tilts, such as bearings signal switch, gear indicator, etc.??

Brak - basically yes. I have both -truck & van - and have found the only real difference is the length of the shaft. The van gear indicator lens has a different letter style from the original truck. The re-pop lenses are of the van style. I have not found a source for the original truck lens.

Not sure if this is a good techniques but I focused my junkyard search on chevy vans with round headlights. Sure enough, I found two last time I was at the yard.... When you pull them don't bother with the rubber piece bolted to the firewall, the bolts are hard to remove. I removed the two on the rag joint and two under the dash and it pulled right out in 10 minutes...
