Whats the Diff?
What is the difference between a Dually rear axle and a single rear wheel full floating axle? I have an obslite rear axle (GM H072) and would like to change gear ratios but cant get any. can i possibly swap it for a single rear wheel Dana 60 full floater and put dually rear wheels on it, will getting one the same width and instaling long enough studs be enough or is there more to it? thanks for the help David

Re: Whats the Diff?
You can do it.The Dana60 was not offered in dual wheel conv.It can be done.Just know that it is a 3/4t axle.Dana`s 1 ton rear was the Dana70.
