Was there a speacial sealant used for the top of the windshield frame
On my 71 Blazer, the top sits on the top of the winshield frame. There is a drip rail at the top of the windshield frame.I know there was a semi-hard sealant that was applied in that area from the factory.
Anyone know what is was? Will any seam sealer do. I'm doing the paint and body and have removed all the old sealant from this area. Here's a pic to give you an idea what I'm talking about.

I was wondering the same thing as I'm fixing by buddys truck while he's gone and the sealant is pretty much gone on the top of the cab. It's not a blazer but I'm sure that stuff is probably the same for all makes.

Check with a 3M dealer and get them to research it with 3M they have a tech line available to all dealers.

Bobby. the Fast and Firm sets up but still has some flexibility. I think its as close to original as you will get.
