Question More GMC camper cruiser questions.

Does anyone know if the 67 Camper Cruiser option was available with 4 wheel drive?

Re: More GMC camper cruiser questions.

Good question. I am trying to find the answer, but I think all the Camper Cruisers were 2 wheel drive.

Re: More GMC camper cruiser questions.

O.K., according to the '67 GMC Pleasure Trucks brochure, the 'Camper Cruiser' package was available on CS/CM 2500's and CS/CM 3500's. It does not specifically say you couldn't order a 4X4 Camper Cruiser, but it does not list such a truck.

Re: More GMC camper cruiser questions.

Alot of GMC info was lost to fire. The option itself wouldn`t exclude 4wd.I mean, what it included would work on a 4wd,not limit it to 2wd.Not to say it was or wasn`t available. All other "CustomCampers" were available in 4wd.

Re: More GMC camper cruiser questions.

Yeah,I hear you.It would be great to find a surviving dealer catalog used in ordering/selecting options for`67 GMCs.I have a`71 Chevy one,Vega to StepVans. It tells you what option or equipment is required for other options and what options are available with other options. The closest I`ve had was a`68 K/20 that was a CST CustomCamper 50th Anniversary that was fully loaded.Until on this site I never saw another. Then, there was one here.
