Does anyone have pictures of how the spare tire jack and tools mount in a 72 C10?

Thanks for the link Larry. I had seen that one a while back but I have no idea how or where it mounts in the cab.

They stow in the cab on the P/S just behind the door jam.

I found the recess spot in the floor for the jack, but what is the giant spring thing behind the passeger door jamb for? Where do the tools go?

The spring is for the tools I believe.

They go into a white plastic/foam bag and stand upright , held in place by the spring in the corner of the pass side cab.

OK, I forgot I was going to take some pics of the jack storage. The bag/sleeve was standing in the corner as shown with the spring around it. The wide end of the bag was up as well as the wide end of the jack handle and the angled part of lug wrench was down at the bottom of the bag. No guarantee this is correct though....

It wouldn't work without the bag/sleeve, or something wrapped around it.

I will also update my original post on this.
