wondering if this truck is worth $3,600
i was driving along the other day and ran across an '83 Chevy half ton, 2 wheel drive, short box... it has 61,000 original miles on a 305 with a 4bbl. and a turbo 350 tranny....and original paint....the only imperfections it has are 2 dimes sized rust spots...one just above each rear wheel well....what i was wondering is if you guys think its worth $3,600 or not.... oh, it has A/C and it works well.....it is in show room shape other than the 2 rust spots

i dont know..someone i know had a 86 chevy short bed with a 350, a nice custom paint job,and a good set of wheels for 3500. if i would have know the price i woulda bought it

in Iowa its prolly a good price here in the city trucks dont go for as much money and prolly would be alot less. Id make sure the mileage is correct and documented and if so then its prolly worth it..

I think it sounds a little steep but not too bad from what you have described. All depends on if you really want it that bad.

okay...just to give you guys a good laugh...i went out and looked at the truck some more today and talked to the guy somemore....forgot the digital camera at home so i took pictures with my cell phone....only problem is....I CAN'T GET THEM OFF OF IT!!! cause i don't have the picture message thing...*cussing under my breath* what is the point of a camera phone if you can't get the pictures off of it???
but i can say this much...my reflection in the paint makes it difficult to see the pictures of the minor imperfections i was trying to photograph....
