WTB/ Dana 60 front axle

I'm looking for a good Dana 60 dually front axle in 4.10 ratio. I would consider a single wheel axle or 4.56. Hoping to find one in Missouri or Kansas.

Re: WTB/ Dana 60 front axle

confused do you want a front or rear axle? it says dually front end and that isn't possible so I thinking rear, and it that is so, I have a 60 rear single wheel not positive on the ration but I'd guess either of the two you said you'd take? LMK I am in AZ so that may pose a problem?

Re: WTB/ Dana 60 front axle

What he means is a dana 60 front axle that has different front hubs that are set up for wheels used on the duallys. There was the dually 1 ton 4wd and the 1 ton 4wds with single rear wheels. The front axles off the single rear wheel trucks are often desired by off roaders but the trucks that had dual rear wheels and a dana 60 front..the front axle had different hub assemblies for the dually style rims, but they can be converted to SRW hubs. The same for a SRW style,it can be converted to a dually style hub.Someone might sell you some cheap since most convert to SRW type hubs and have no use for the dually style. The axles are the same, but the hubs are different. The SRW style axles are usually more expensive than a DRW style.
Pic one is of a single rear wheel style front axle and pic 2 is of one for a dually.Sorry I kinda thread jacked...There is a few in Ohio and other places on ebay,You might find one cheap depending on how far you want to drive

Did you see this one? Price is a little steep for a dually 60 though.

Now that one I did see, I emailed him and tried to get him to add a Buy It Now price. I was in Firth Nebraska saturday morning getting some new tires and could have picked it up then.

Firth is in my old stomping grounds. Great place to get tires. I guess that answers something I've been wondering about- does SJ or KC have a tire outlet like Firth? I guess not! Funny what the big cities don't have to offer

Re: WTB/ Dana 60 front axle

Jeff, I couldnt beat there price even with the drive. I bought 6 Cooper C-140 8r 19.5 tires for 135.00 a tire. Every where else I looked the same tire was around 280.00 each.
