Header/fitting Questions...
I know this has been beat to death. I have a 72swb, 2wd, sbc. I am wanting to know if these will fit without any kind of trimming of the frame or anything for that matter, and if the people that are using them are happy with them. I thought I read it once on here but being on dial-up its kinda hard to have the patience to find it again. Thanks ahead of time guys and gals.
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku The part # is "HED-68608" Last edited by 72driver; 05-11-2007 at 12:22 AM. Reason: entered wrong link |

Re: Header/fitting Questions...
I'm pretty sure those are one of the 2 Hedman models I tried fitting on my truck. If so, they interfere with the passenger side motor mount. Ended up going with something else.

I have hedman elite full legnth hedders on mine an they fit suprisingly well. Could look up the part # if you want. Kind of a bad pic but you can kinda see them.

Re: Header/fitting Questions...
Summit PN is HED-69890 $269.95 These are very good quality. Thick Flange. And look nice for a couple of years IMO. I had to clearance the drivers side framerail(lower part) about 1/32" with a dremmel. Only rubed occasionaly with motor running. BTW where are ya located in MO.
