Re: Des Moines to South Dakota, Anyone...???
I'm in no hurry, just hoping for a ride to Sioux Falls by Memorial day possibly. My brother is coming home for Memorial weekend, he lives in Sioux Falls. I have a ride for them if nothing happens by August, but other than that no hurry... Its a tailgate and a front right fender. I bought them on ebay, Iveldesigns picked them up and is storing them for me...

Well, my truck is nowhere close to needing them, but the curiousity of how they look is killing me...

Re: Des Moines to South Dakota, Anyone...???
I'll probably be making a trip from northeast MO to just south of Rapid City in the next couple weeks. I usually go through Des Moines but I'll probably go across Hwy 20 from Sioux City, IA.
I'll be working somewhere close to Hot Springs, SD. If I can do you any good let me know.

Re: Des Moines to South Dakota, Anyone...???
Really, Hot Springs is only about 45 minutes from me, I would gladly drive down to wherever you are staying, the closer I can get them to me from Des Moines, the better off I am...
Would you safely have room for a tailgate and front-right fender? Also, are you going to be in the area the weekend of June 8-9-10? I see you said working in the area... PM me if you could possibly get this stuff to the Hot Springs area?

Re: Des Moines to South Dakota, Anyone...???
Wheeler's does not service South Dakota... Well, I would rather have a board member anyway, I think a boardmember would be a little more cautious. I have a ride for them if I wanted to wait until August, i was just hoping for something sooner...
is 454_72_4x4 works out, I would be a happy boy...

Re: Des Moines to South Dakota, Anyone...???
not sure if it helps or not, but i'll be heading to waterloo next weekend, and could take the stuff with me.
waterloo is on hwy 20, so 454_72_4X4, if you're gonna go through there, my parents live just off of 20. my guess is that you won't be going through waterloo though. |

I think I'll be heading out the 23rd. I think my route will be; Home to, Ottumwa, IA, Hwy, 163 to Des Moines, IA, I80 to I680 to I29 to Sioux City, IA then west on Hwy 20 Quote:
Here's a dumb queston...is the 8-9-10th Labor day weekend? (Don't have a calender handy right now). If so I may come back home that weekend, but doubtful with gas prices the way they are. I'll send ya a pm with more info asap. I gotta get some sleep now though!

Memorial Day is what I was talkin about. (May 26, 27, 28) Anyway, now that I look at the calender, I dunno if I'll be goin the 23rd (May)or not. If I go then I'll have 2 days of work and then a 3 day weekend to sit around with nothin to do....To far to drive home and no $ to do anything out there! This trip may get delayed until the 27th/28th. I'll probably be out around Hot Springs for about a month I guess. 'll send you both, (67 cst swb, IvelDesigns), a PM with some details and we can surely work it out!

Re: Des Moines to South Dakota, Anyone...???
June 8,9,&10th weekend... there will be a few guys here from the board... (see link below in my signature) is the only reason I was asking...
Also you may wanna look into heading up the Sioux Falls, then taking I-90 accross... then hwy 79 south to Hot Springs, It may be way faster... I would guess 6-7 hours from Sioux City, Iowa, to Sioux Falls, to Rapid City, to Hot Springs... all those little towns on Hwy 20 may be the killer...
