Driveshaft bearing

Hye guys, ive got a 72 rear coil suspension, so the driveshaft carrier bearing in the middle is a little different. The bolts that hold it on run parallel with the driveshaft, meaning they screw in towards the ground, but they are one after the other instead of side by side, like the ones on the leaf suspensions. My real question is this. The first one i had when i bought the truck like 2 months ago was busted, so i replaced it, and it broke about a week later. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem / has a solution. If u guys need pics, just tell me, thanks....

Pics may help to see where it broke and why... I replaced the carrier bearing on a 69 3/4 ton years ago, and it lasted until my friend burned the truck up about 5 years later.

Was the replacement a good quality part? I know it can be hard to tell these days...

Did the metal casing break? Some of these are cheaply made and the spot welds can break where the casing attaches to the mount. A lot of guys on here add some additional welds and have had good results. I've done the same in the past, and it worked for me, but I've since swapped to a one-piece. Also, is your truck lowered? If so an incorrect pinion angle or a rear end that isn't centered can cause premature failure of the bearing.

Mines like the 7th one, its an aluminum housing, so i dont think u could weld it too great. THey both broke in the same spot, so i fugured maybe it was something else.....Where would i get a one piece one? and no the truck isnt lowered...
