cab braces, are they made?
I don't know what they are called, but I'm referring to the braces that are under the floor that span from the front of the cab to the rear. Mine are rusted out. Are these reproduced?

Re: cab braces, are they made?
They are not the cab supports. The cab supports go from side to side. These are the long (4+ feet) supports that go from the front to rear of cab. I was thinking what greasemonkey was. I probably can just use some steel stock and make my own.
wibilly, they are indeed still racing at fonda speedway. I hear the cars every Sat. night from my house and I am several miles away! |

Re: cab braces, are they made?
I think you want part # 38-7944 it as listed as an outrigger in the lmc catalog. It is listed as 44" long and is pictured as the z shape.
Item #10 in the linky supplied by blukangoo. Last edited by Aarons72s; 05-18-2007 at 01:28 PM. |

Or you can easily make your own, Lowe's Home Depot sells 36" 48" and I think 60" steel bars, I bought the 36" one and used it to re-inforce my new seat.
