That truck was cleaner than most of them that I see. What a shame. I showed that video to my wife, and she got mad that he crushed it!

Why does that guy's name sound familiar? Is he a member here?

Re: Junk Brown Chevy videos

Maybe it just went to a junkyard ?

I've seen trucks like that in good shape end up at junkyards, but usually the whole truck goes up for sale. It usually ends up being a deal thats hard for anyone to pass up. Even if it didn't sell whole, junkyards usually let vehicles get picked over pretty well before they are crushed.

Judging but that video, I can't tell if that truck was a keeper or not. Could have been rusted beyond repair? All we can hope is that the choice that was made was a good one.

Re: Junk Brown Chevy videos

Couldn't even finish watching that video it was to disturbing, I've saved worse trucks over here in Australia from the crusher just for spare parts. That truck looked no where near bad enough to come to an end like that. Like Srubydo said no respect at all

Re: Junk Brown Chevy videos

Guy is an idiot. I never saw his "offer", and I doubt hardly onyone did...I don't think he made any effort to sell it...if he did, it would have sold for far more than $75 or whatever he got for scrapping it. He just rubbed it in by taping it and advertising it...what a waste. Just my opinion.

Re: Junk Brown Chevy videos

i don't get it.seems like a waste of video tape.i'm sure he pulled the drag motor first and crushed a questionable condition longbed.these trucks are still easy to find.i know were all hoping, but they ain't 69 camaro's yet.i heard alot of cars and trucks are bringing more crushed than for parts.i know i see alot of crushed ones stacked on semi's going down the freeway.

Re: Junk Brown Chevy videos

That was depressing to watch, guy should have been able to sell it for a few hundred to someone. Not that hard to put an engine in a truck, done it before.

I wanted to see what Marc destroyed for only $75.00. So here is the info on the truck as per the VIN from the plate on the truck. (reason one, why you blank out license plates)

VIN CCU147A114392
Model Year 1977
Division (unknown code)
Chassis 2 Wheel Drive
Body Style Pickup
Series 1/2-Ton
Engine V8 305 2 bbl.
Assembly Plant Atlanta, GA
Sequential Number 114392
