front independent suspension
Hey guys
I have a 61 chevy C20 with torsion bar front suspension. I want to change that to a later model with disk brakes. What year and model can I use without subframing. Can the suspension parts be removed from the frame on a later model chevy pu 1/2 or 3/4, and bolted on the 61. I really need your help on this one. Thanks ralbon |

Re: front independent suspension
You can bolt in a 73-87 crossmember on the truck. You may need to drill some new holes or widen the existing holes to mount the crossmember.
