WTB - Tailgate...decent shape, nearby, affordable...
Ok, maybe I'm asking for alot. I bought a Tailgate (side purchase on ebay) and got SCREWED!!!
I paid $200 for a "surface rust only, 1 small ding, no bow, straight Tailgate" I got... a "very rusty surface, very dinged up, hammered top edge, Ok so it has no bow in it, but scared to sandblast it, what was I thinking purchasing sight unseen" Tailgate. So, If someone relatively close has a driver quality Chevrolet widebox tailgate for an affordable price (being I spent my tailgate funds already)... PM me please, I'd be interested... Oh, and for a discount... I'll let you look at my purchase... It's worth a good laugh... P.S. luckily the fender I bought on ebay was "just as good" as I expected. I then bought this tailgate from the same guy while arranging the payment/pick-up arrangement deal...

hey man. sorry to hear the tail gate wasn't what you expected. When i picked it up i assume you paid an appropriate amount for it. I agree, $200 is probably a bt much for that, however, you might as well try media blasting it and see how it turns out.
Do you need me to go over and kick the guy in the knee caps for not describing his item well? |

Sorry about your ebay mishap. I do have a decent driver tailgate. It isn't perfect but would make a good driver tailgate. I would like to get 75 out of it, considering I paid 125 for it at a local junk yard. If you are interested. PM your email address I can get some pics in the next couple of days.
