I have a set on a truck, with a Dana rear end you will need rear caps from a dually. I have an extra set of rear caps if you need them.

My C-20 has wheels off an '06 GMC 2500HD. I got the lug nuts off ebay like John Fabris said.

Do a search on this board for pics of other trucks running these 2500HD wheels.... several threads on this.
There have been a couple threads regarding the fitting of the cap of over the rear hub as well... The only complication that I have experienced with these rims is on a 67 3/4 ton chevy that had a one ton dana from a dogde van swapped in. The hub of that rear end was too big and the rim would not fit over it.... Last edited by John Fabris; 07-06-2007 at 02:46 PM. |

I put these wheels on my 72 3/4 pickup. I got the lug nuts from stockton wheel as all the new stuff is metric and the old wheels take a 9/16 lug. As far as the rears go I had to find (2) 1 ton rear hub covers off ebay and then when I gor the hub covers I had to cut and put sleves on the plastic nut covers to make them long enough. It was some work but it looks good.

I have used them on several of the 67-72 trucks. You do have to do something with the rear cap though. Doesn't matter if the rear end is a dana or a corperate, they both are full floating axles. The hub and axle assembly just sticks out about 1/4" too far to be able to bolt the center caps down. I personaly do not like the duely cap on the rear because I think that it is too tall, and looks funny just sticking out. I take the center caps and cut the centers iut of them. Paint the end of the axle with silver ceramic paint then you can just bolt it on. You would be supprized how it just blends with the truck. WES

Looks good Classic Heartbeat! What did you do for center caps on the front, cut them out?

Re: Will late model 3/4 ton wheels fit my 67 GMC?
Since I ended up purcashing the wheels off a 1000 mile truck i'm set. However I did buy a set of those Ford wheels you have on your truck a few months ago that I am now not going to use. To John, thank you a bunch, that is awsome. I will pass on your spare one ton center caps as the caps that came with mine are the new 07 variety and if they dont make a similar one ton rear I will be replaceing them all. Oh ya and I dont want to put chevy bowties on my GMC.
