Cool '69 w/ discs and 5"x5" wheel pattern ????

My '69 has disc brakes up front and 5"x5" wheels all the way around. Has someone done some work on this rig or was it a special order?

I always "knew" that these had drums up to '70 and then disks starting with '71, so you can imagine my surprise to see disks on my truck.

Someone has updated your truck, 71 was the first year for discs and 5 lugs.

becouse they are worthless on the back of a street driven pick up unless it usually has a few thousand pounds in back.

71/72 were discs only on front. I don't recall rear discs being available on Chevrolet light trucks through at least 87. I'm not sure when they started but it was much more recent than 72.

I don't think the rear disc trucks came out until the body change in '99.
