A couple of changes for my 77 Sierra Grande

Made a couple of changes since the holidays on my '77. Replaced the mirrors, pulled the trim off, and put some new skids and shoes on it. My next task is to slap on some new shocks. Been thinking about putting some air shocks on the rear. Thoughts?

Looks better IMo, that molding was jacked up on the sides.

Tires and wheels look better too. if you ever haul anything good sized load or heavy air shocks are great. We hauled trash the other day in our 2wd and it was really squatted down in back, my 76 2wd never done that with air shocks on it.

I run air shocks on the back of my monte carlo and that thing never hauls anything more then groceries, and the ride is very nice.

They rode real nice on the 76 also. I need shocks on this 84 c10 and when I get some they are gonna be air shocks in the back(if I don't lower it) maybe even if I do, and monroes on the front.

Yeah, the ones on there are originals I think and this spring I had the rear down to the spare tire..... ran air shocks on an old Ford once but it was a long bed and road a bit rough. Thought the shortbed might even be rougher.

Well like I said we have crappy rough roads filled with pot holes, dips and bumps. My 76 rode great, and my monte carlo rides smooth as a cadilac around here. I run air shocks on it and run about 75 psi which I think is the base/min pressure to run in them. The ride is great.
