Should I buy this truck?

my buddy's mom bought it brand new back in '86. its been here in east texas for 20 years and has been kept in their garage since 2002. the motor needs rings and went dead after only 72,000 miles, so it is a very clean truck. it has the 305 w/ auto im guessing a turbo 350. i wanna get ahold of the truck if i can so what would be a reasonble offer? ill post pictures when i get home and have the cable to hook up my phone. thanks in advance

EDIT: oh yeah its a longbed very well optioned as well

Rust free? Garaged all it's life ? I'd take it. Engine and transmission work is to be expected on a truck that old.

I'd buy it, rebuild the motor in it and use it as a DD

That's either 7,200 or 100,000 plus. The white numeral is tenths of a mile.
