Mounting questions for 3rd-row seat
I finally got a suburban 3rd row seat for my blazer. It is from a 96-99 suburban. I know somebody has already done it, but can't find a post. I want to mount the seat using a square steel subfloor. Can the cups that the seat goes into still be bought from GM or would I have to do some cutting at a junkyard. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeremy

Here they are on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...spagenameZWDVW
This might be the person you were referring to as a install example: http://1972c5.com/blazer_pages/pics_...eriorpics.html Last edited by JWPOORE; 07-15-2007 at 12:17 AM. |

That's my truck in the link. Let me know what I can help you with and I'll try my best. The install is pretty straight forward, I bought those brackets off ebay too.

Re: Mounting questions for 3rd-row seat
That is exactly what I needed. Thanks for the links. I haven't seen your site before crzn, it's great. It may be a while before I can get to it, but I'll probably do the same thing you did. Did you have to drop the tank or anything when you did the welding for the brackets? How about support under the floor? Your blazer looks great btw.
