Soft top questions
Will soft tops seal up enough to keep the rain out? Do you have to have a roll bar or does it work ok w/o? I'd like to use it during winter months so I can work on my hard top but want to know how wet I'm gonna get.

Re: Soft top questions
Think moist - not wet...
My Bestop work with or without a rollbar. I can't say for sure on others, (if you can find others), but the Bestop has a pair of bows that hold up the top independant of a roll bar. Mine's not weather-tight, but it's not bad. I get minor water intrusion at the upper front window corners on the doors and the rear lower corners of the back at the tailgate. I did a write-up on the install, if you wanna search it out. In any event - it beat the hell out of my previously 100% top-less state, especially since it hasn't stopped raining since I installed it back around April!! Fricken El' Nino The softtop is the most money I've spent on something I hate to use..... Herb |
