The 3" drop spindles and the 2" drop springs may just put you on the ground, hard. You may have to go a little less than that, especially for those tires, the 255/70/15 is a 29.06" tall tire and the 285/70/15 is a 30.71" tall tire. You may not have front fender well clearance for that tall of tire.

Re: I just score some lowing stuff

a 245 or 255/60 tire on the front might work better --- that tall of a tire in the back will give it some rake too

Hah, not really - sure the size-designations of the tires will be different, but what matters is the overall diameter of the tire, and those can be had from online tire dealers like Tire Rack. So really you say what tires you have, bigblock79 looks them up for dimensions, finds a 15" tire that is as wide as yers and has the same diameter as yers, we call it a day

Try this calculator and it will lay you onto some tire diameters real fast.

not nessicarily true.while overall diameter is the same.you can run into some lower control arm clearence issue's with 15 inch wheels and drop spindles.i did.some don't though.
