can anyone Id this engine?
on the front pad it reads v0119twt
on the rear of the engine block it has 3970010 and a 36 near the same area. I may be wrong but I was gitting information from somone that said it was a 350 out of a c30-3500??? I think he said a 1977? Can i find out if it's a 4bolt main according to these numbers? Or what year it is. were is the number on the heads? thanks |

350 - 4 Barl out of a C-30 big truck, 165 Horse Power 4 Bolt ??? no way to know w/o pulling the pan

I have no idea what the fwrd cab refers to.
They list conv cab, van, bus and fwrd cab under the "applications" area. I would guess it refers to the type of chassis it was delivered with.

I see what your talking about rick but when combined with the number on the front of the engine it would be a 1977. that would eliminate all but the 350. Do you guys know what the 36 would be for? it is located near the rear casting number
