Re: Exhaust ?

I had a 71 gmc once that had the exhaust from a 67 Impala under it. Who knows! I would think a coil spring truck would be a lot different from a leaf truck. I would have to vote for doubtful but I don't know how resourceful or determined you are.

Re: Exhaust ?

even if they are both leaf sprung you will have clearance isues with one rear shockbecause 73 and newer have stagered shock mounts. another isue will be at the manifolds. you may get it on but i don't think it will fit properly without some cutting and welding

Re: Exhaust ?

Never mind the manifolds, I would be using headers. It's just that I always seem to be seeing a lot of exhaust kits for 73 up at decent prices. That's why I'm asking....

Re: Exhaust ?

Run the pipe yourself to the mufflers to save some money and have a local shop mandrel bend over the axle unless you go with the LMC kit others here have liked.

Re: Exhaust ?

Knew that, but I had a line on a new exhaust system for those year trucks. I know about the LMC one. Thanks, Jim.....
