Re: Daily Driver

I alternate between my 04 Mazda B3000 (gas saver) and the k5. I don't consider one more reliable than the other, i'd drive either one of them anywhere and I wouldn't have a single problem (the Mazda does have AC though )

The green one is Critter's, another member.

Ah, what the hell, here's the mazda too.

And one more...

Re: Daily Driver

Here is mine. I use her as my daily driver from mid April till late Sept. or early Oct.. To me our winters are too harsh to use these trucks as dd's here but there are a few diehards that in the city that use them all year around.

Re: Daily Driver

Mine is gonna be a daily... I bought it to replace my current truck...a 2005 F-150 (it was part of a truck/boat package). I definetly think It'll be an upgrade.

As far as that snow stuff...I'm a teacher if its snowing, I'm sleeping in.

Re: Daily Driver

The first year I bought my Sub I drove it all winter but I confess I can't keep doing that. The Sub, Jimmy and Impala all rest in storage over the winter. The salt is so bad here in ohio that my wifes 02 Venture's rockers are already going to pot. Winter just sucks here.

Re: Daily Driver

Let's see daily driver huh! I have owned the 71 since 1986 it had 80,000 miles on it when I bought it. It had only power steering & brakes. Now with the 305 HO TPI motor in it with 280,000 miles on it and still running.( first motor I ever built) I have added to this since then.
I'm having it repainted for my son to have it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
