need pics of dash's

I need some idea's for my truck's dash. There is a huge hole cut out where the radio goes, so I am open to suggestions. I really don't care about trying to save the dash, I am going to put a replacement in if I cannot figure something out. I am definately going to put in a din style radio and was thinking of putting a monitor above it. Any suggestions, idea's, or pictures? Thank you

Re: need pics of dash's

Pics 1 and 2 where the first attempt to do something different, pics 3, 4 and 5 are what I finally settled on. There is more to come, as I sectioned an original glove box door to about the same size as the gauge panel. The center will have, top to bottom:

Round A/C vent, HVAC control panel, round A/C vent

Stereo

Cup Holder , Cup Holder

Re: need pics of dash's

Putter made this for me (unfortunately, I won't be using it anymore, as I'm getting rid of the project.)

But it's an idea nonetheless, and it covers the monitor idea as well. It's a Double-DIN hole...

I really dig that, I wanted to do something like that in my blazer. I will probaby go ahead and cut out where the a/c, starter and cig lighter goes and do something different there. Looks good though.

How about this!

Two 2 1/16 gauges, center A/C vent, A/C and heater controls, and the stereo.

Re: need pics of dash's

I filled mine and the Air Ride bag controls took the radio spot. The new radio is going into a custom console below the dash..That reminds me I need to get off my LAZY A** and start building it!!

Re: need pics of dash's

Mine was hacked too but not real bad. The PO just cut it between the holes for a small shaft style radio. I just made a small panel to cover it & added a so-cal emblem to it...
