Converting steel floor to wood floor
I recently purchased a new box for my 71 GMC in very good condition, the only problem is that it has a steel floor and I want a wood one. What is involved in converting this bed to a wood floor?

Re: Converting steel floor to wood floor
I've wanted to do this too. The only thing I can find is the head panel and cross sills are different than the metal bed floor. You probably already know you will need the wood and strips. You will also need offset washers and I would recommend new carriage bolts and nuts.
