Re: Blazer Update Pics
Good thing is that I have help and a dang good help at that. I know it will not be perfect but I have a huge advantage on most folks considering how good of shape mine is already in. I could get by without even painting it

Re: Blazer Update Pics
Go with what you've got. The stock arms will get you pretty low once you get all the body out of the way. If you move the frontcrossmember forward, you're gonna have to figure out something for steering, as the stock stuff won't work. Were you planning on running the Bill Turner piece you have?

Re: Blazer Update Pics
That one is just aired out on 20s/18s w/ a c-notch out back. Shouldn't be too hard to duplicate. You could ride that low with a small step notch and a sectioned crossmember.
The reason I mentioned the Bill Turner stuff is that it is already sectioned and set-up for the R&P. Would make life a lot easier.

Re: Blazer Update Pics
looks like a sweet project. I would go with that plan the vet stuf is cool but for the $$$$ I dont think the ride would be that much better.

Re: Blazer Update Pics
How are you bolting up the 400 to the 6.0? It would be cheaper to get a 4L80E than to add a gearvendor unit.

Re: Blazer Update Pics
You can get a flywheel of a 98 ls1 and a spacer and it is supposed to bolt up with little fab. I already have a good th400 and may not even get a gear vendor since this aint no daily driver but you can find them cheap if you look hard.

Re: Blazer Update Pics
I did get all the 67 suspension back under it this afternoon ( it has 4 tires under it again) so the next step is to figure out how far I want to move the front suspension foward and how much I want to move the rear suspension back. I will then pull the tub and move the suspension and take the frame and parts and have them blasted and power coated.

Re: Blazer Update Pics
Check bagged74's build thread. That's the only pics I've seen on here.
