2000 chevy motor swap
hey all! i have a 2000 chevy truck that i just bout for $1500 it has the v6 with 134K runs good and all but im think about putting the 327 in it. does any body have any info on this. do i need to change the complet wiring harness and will the 4l60e trans that is in it work with the 327???

I assume you are referring to an older Carburated 327 motor? First time I've seen a carb swap into a 199+ truck like that

that would be a neat project but i am wonting the 327 vortec motor. fuel injected and some small modes

I just happen to have a 5.3L for sale also. But if your wondering yes you will have some harness work to do and yes the 4L60E will do just fine.

nice score at $1500 if it is in any shape better than awful.
It really wouldn't be that hard in a 2000 since the all parts are available to make it work. Contact me for parts including a 5.3, I can deliver to tecumseh.

thanks for all the info. yeah i think i got a deal on the truck it runs good. just needs a front clip. but i still drive it. (it has all the parts there there just beat to h*ll)
