BB Head Question

I have 3931063 oval port heads, what is your opinion of these? I think they are used on anything from general purpose truck engines to 390 hp Corvette engines. Does this same head give enough flow for all these applications. They are on my 396 engine that I want to put into my 71 C10.

Re: BB Head Question

Those heads will work fine as they were built for many different applications.

Re: BB Head Question

Do these 3931063 BB heads all have the same valve sizes? I guess that it is confusing how they are used in so many different HP engines from 310 hp truck engines to 390 or more on Corvette engines.

Re: BB Head Question

The 063 is one of the best flowing small chamber heads, which make them great for a 369/402.
They all came with 2.06/1.72 valves.
