70 4x4 with pics and a little history on it.

Well, i have owned this truck since 1989. Many sets of tires, a couple of boxes and numerous patch panels. Spun a brg on the 350 300hp that was in it when i bought it. Hauled enough crushed rock to break the rear leafs, and one trans rebuild. This truck just didn't quit. It has around 320k miles on it now and is basically retired. Body is shot again, engine is tired, steering is sloppy ETC... You get the picture...
Anyhow, i put a battery in it today, checked the fluids, fired it up and took it for a spin. Even gave it a bath in the rain. These old trucks just don't die. Enjoy the pics, Eric

Nice truck!! I still like it old and rusty or not..Big block and bucket seats, tach, and it's 4wd,what more could you want?
I'll take it off your hands if you don't want it
Is it lifted or stock height? What size tires?

Re: 70 4x4 with pics and a little history on it.

Dustin, it has a 3" lift in the back, and 2 1/2" up front. Tires are 33x12.5x15 on 8 1/4" aluminum slots.
xshadow, it looks much better in the pics than it really is, Trust me!

Re: 70 4x4 with pics and a little history on it.

The front end is in a low spot in the yard in the pic. It actually sits pretty level otherwise.

Eric... that thing isnt THAT bad.. we should post some pics on what actually drives around on our roads up here, fenders and quarter panels flapping inthe wind and all... but 320K on it, now that rocks...
