Unfortunately I rarely see the beast anymore (the truck not my son) he lives way north of me and uses his k5 to get around in, so this is the first time in a few months that I have been able to take pics.

He doesn't really need to go there to scare them they end up here during the winter, we call them Snowbirds.

No, the original colors were dark brown metalic and sandstone center, he dechromed it and had the painter mix this color. When you look close it appears to have gold flakes with a kinda greenish tint.

Me neither in my opinion it takes away the whole purpose of a 4x4 and then it makes the statement "steal me", but it turned out pretty nice anyway.

Re: Well I did not get it in time for the totm

I thought about your son's truck too for the totm. I remembered that you had said when you posted a pic of it the last time that you only had the one pic and didn't see the truck very often. Too bad that you didn't get some in time, because I'd have voted for it! Even with the blingin' wheels it still is an awesome looking truck! I'm not really a big fan of those big wheels like that either, but I really think he pulled it off and made it work on this truck. ...Joe

Re: Well I did not get it in time for the totm

I agree about the chrome rims on a 4x4 truck but that is awesome. Simple clean and with just enough chrome and custom details (paint and taillights standout to me.) to really make for a very nice truck.

Re: Well I did not get it in time for the totm

i will go out on a limb and say i like the big chrome rims on that truck -- with all the other mods on it, it doesnt look like it will be doing any rock crawlin anyway, --- but perfect for throwin some roost up at the beach
