Re: Rear help

im not positive but i think that means 41 teeth on the ring and 10 on the pinion 41 devided by 10 would = 4.10 ratio you might be lucky jack it up spin the drive shaft 4 turns and see if the wheels turn 10 full rounds

Re: Rear help

I know a lot of people like to use the "turn the drive shaft and count the revolutions" technique. I would suggest just pulling the cover, if is not an eaton, and count the teeth on the ring gear and pinion. It takes a litlte more effort but I bet you are due for a fluid change anyway, and then you will know for sure. divide the two teeth counts and that is your ratio.

Re: Rear help

I have a c/20 frame with the rear. I was thinking about holding onto the rear just in case some day i may need it......with the 4:10 is it anything special that I should save? I don't know too much about rear gear raito. I'M NOT looking to sell anything just saving parts I may need someday......I have a c/10 and a k/10 so i'm not looking to use this right now
