Correct Battery Cables for a 72 Custom

I am about to start working on my 72 Custom. First I will need a battery, Battery Cables, and Spark plug wires. The cables and wires were chewed on by rats and the battery is just plain dead.

My question is that this truck has a side terminal battery. Is this correct?
Or one that someone changed in the past?

Not that I am that worried about correctness, I just wanted to know. Obviously with replacing wires and battery I could change them to top if needed.

Thanks,
Thomas
