Question '72 Suburban Length

I was wondering what the length and width is of a '71-'72 Suburban? I am looking to purchase a two-wheel drive and make a daily driver/street rod out of it. Any help on this question or things I should watch for while shopping for this truck would be great.

Thank you for the help. Are there any good books I can read to help me learn more about these vehicles? I am really looking forward to learning about them and finally owning one.

The best thing to find would be the Original Chevy Dealers Data Books, but they are hard to find and expensive.
