factory tire/ wheel size 71 k10

i am still trying to decide which direction to go with my 71 k10. i like lifted 4x4's but kind of been likeing the factory stock 4x4's like joesjunk has.

i have the wheels i belive, i think there 15x6's but what size tire came on them? i might go with like a 2" lift and get some tall and skinny tires so it sits more like a stock k20

thanks

Re: factory tire/ wheel size 71 k10

The closest to factory stock standard tire size for a K/10 would be a 235/75x15.There were optional 16" wheels where you could mount 235/85x16s which is what a K/20 would have for stock(7.50x16 bias-ply).There was a flotation tire/wheel option using 8.25x16.5 wheels and 10.00x16.5 tires, but a comparable radial is about impossible to find. For a factory HD look that falls between bone-stock and lifted/BIG tires, look at Joe`s K/10(black vinyl top) or CGs Black K/10.Their 8x15 rims and tires are sized about the same as the factory flotation set-up.

what size do they have? joe and CG that is...

i have 32x11.50 right now and it looks to wide for the truck, i might lift it like 2" maybe and put 33's on it, but i just cant decide.

Re: factory tire/ wheel size 71 k10

Sorry about the crummy re-sized picture. I don't have PhotoShop on this computer.

My tires are 235/75x15. Using the GPS my speedometer is right on so this must be close to factory size.
