It's Pointless!

Well the old points failed me yesterday morning so I went ahead and made the switch, my Chevelle gave up it's HEI for the truck. The HEI that was in the Chevelle only had two wires White, and Yellow, and the top of the unit where they plug in was labeled "Batt" and "Tach" which made it a no brainer as to where the wires went.
The truck seems to start easier and run stronger and I haven't even gapped the plugs yet so it can only get better right?

Yup, it'll get better. Regap them at about 40, and haul @ss.
You did run a new wire for the coil right?

I hope you aren't running off the coil wire. There is only like 8 volts coming out of that thing. Run a wire to the fuse block and plug it in to the ign terminal
