1/2 and 3/4 ton frames the same

Are 1/2 and 3/4 ton frames the same (68 to 72)

Yes..there is more bracing on the 3/4 tons though..The only difference is the spring hangers which differ from 67-68,and 69-72.The crossmember locations may be different too depending on year.I believe the older ones didn't have the brace behind the steering box,But I forget which year they started that...

Really?? My 3/4 ton frame is thicker than my Blazer. Is the Blazer Frame lighter than a 1/2 ton maybe?
Or has time eroded her down.

No, you are right. 1/2, 3/4, and 1 tons all have different frames.

Could you specify the differences? According to all info I've read about these the K10 and K20 chassis is the same chassis...Yes,the one ton chassis are different but since there were no K30s they are out of the question.I'd just like to know the differences in the frame design/thickness.
