67 with 71-72 style 2-tone paint
Anybody have any pictures of a 67-68 shortbed with a 2-tone paint job like this? I have always liked the 67-68 frontclips and the 2-tone where the roof and the middle are white like the 71-72. I thought of maybe putting mouldings from a 71-72 on my 67 if I were to paint it like this. Is there any of these out there? Pictures are much appreciated. Whoevers red and white truck this is, I hope you don't mind me using the picture. It's a sweet truck. Mine is the solid red one.

Thanks Frizzle Fry, that's exactly the kind of pictures I'm looking for. Trying to make up my mind on what I want to do. Some clown in a BMW scratched the whole passenger side, so I'm just going to do the whole thing.

Re: 67 with 71-72 style 2-tone paint
I like the look and I don't mind mixing clips and trim. I have to admit though that I like the two tones with white below the lower trim and a white top best. Picture this 50th with red instead of gold and maybe even 69-72 lower/side trim ...or this 71-72 with a 67-68 clip (preferably with a white grille).
Just some more ideas for ya Last edited by Frizzle Fry; 12-06-2007 at 06:34 PM. |

Not the right color red but you get the idea.

I like the '67-8 side trim best of all, even on a '69-72. It'll fit and you know it isn't stock, but looks right.....if you want/have side trim. I really like the 50th gold/white truck color combo.

He must have used the Ray Charles Muffler Shop. I'd kick the man's tail that put those crooked pipes under the rear bumper of that nice truck if it were mine.

Blindman mufflers, inc.Somrthing funny going on with that red & white truck. The bed cover is ridin`high on the driver side.Like, maybe, the ride side of the frame is drooped and the exhaust could be right?Maybe he just stuffed too much under the bed cover,I dunno...

Here's mine. It's a 1970 if that's OK bit two tone anyway.

Re: 67 with 71-72 style 2-tone paint
I do like the White on the bottom with the white top. Man, I don't know. I would think I would go with this now since seeing that photoshop pic. I know it isn't the same red but it looks pretty sweet. Going to meet with my painter over Christmas. I will let you know, thanks for all the pics guys.
