WTB - 68-72 left rear bedside patch panel, taillight area
I need a patch panel for the left (driver's side) rear bedside 68-72.
Here is a picture of my bedside. (Click on the picture to see a bigger version.) I need a patch panel to repair this. I would prefer to have a little forward of the marker light, you can kind of a see a dark line that runs all way down the bedside. It didn't get into the stake pocket, so just the outer skin will do it. The majority of the taillight is messed up so I do the need whole skin back through the taillight to where it is spot welded on by the tailgate. If you have this piece, how much do you want for it shipped to Brookings, SD 57006? Thank you! Shawn

I do have this piece on my Blazer tub that I just pulled. I can get pics tomorrow if you'd like. How about $45 plus shipping?

That sounds decent, provided shipping isn't too bad. I can't imagine it would be.
If you could get me a picture tomorrow I would really appreciate it. When/if you cut, you can cut too big on the taillight side if you want and I can seperate it on the spotwelds if you want. It really doesn't matter to me.

I will get pics tomorrow and see if I can get an approximate shipping cost. What might your zip be?

Zip is 57006. I am sure a shipping estimate will be a challenge, since you can't be sure on weight and size until it's off, so just a guesstimate will be fine.

If my guess is close at all, shipping should be in the $10 range. I'll get pics tomorrow.

Well after looking it over there is a small rust hole on the top lip where the top sat on it. Everything else looks good, just surface rust and it also looks dent free. Here are the pics, let me know what you think.

Re: WTB - 68-72 left rear bedside patch panel, taillight area
That looks great to me, and I dont' care about that rust at the top. As a matter of fact, I don't intend to go all the way to the top. If it's easier for you, you can cut it about an inch under the top of the bed.
PM me with details on how you want to be paid. I can mail a money order, check, or Paypal the money to you. I can pay now before you cut, so you know I don't bail. Then if shipping changes I can send you more. However you want to handle it, just let me know. Thanks! Shawn

Re: WTB - 68-72 left rear bedside patch panel, taillight area
I'll try to get it cut out, boxed and weighed tomorrow. I'll let you know if the shipping is any different, although I don't see it changing much, if any. You can just paypal the funds after I get it boxed, that's cool with me.
Thanks, Tim

Re: WTB - 68-72 left rear bedside patch panel, taillight area
Found some filler in 2 dents. One is very small, right on the bend and the other looks like it was bumped out and a skim coat of filler put over it. I tried to get the best shots I could of these areas. Let me know if you still would like it.
