lets see them 67-72 plow trucks i have 5 4wds here [3 71 and 72s] and no plow truck so i got another 72 today to turn into a plow truck and winter work horse. when i first seen it i couldn't wait to get my grubbys on it for parts but after looking it over i think i'm gonna give it a set of rockers and a coat of industrial enamel and put it to work. 400 sb auto and posi no pics yet i haven't got it home yet

Here is my 71 4x4. It works really well even though it has an engine driven hydraulic pump setup on it.

My 69 4wd use to be a plow truck in it's previous life near lake Michigan in Wisconsin..It's no longer a plow truck,the plow wouldn't work good with the 6" lift anyway.Besides,the truck body couldn't handle anymore cold salty winters...

nice looking plow truck jim. isn't an engine driven pump better ,faster easier on your charging system and useful for many other accesorys like a sander, wheele lift or the jaws of life eric, good te see them earning their keep, i bet that blazer gets around very well witch would you rather plow with. i imagin the windows in the pickup are easier to keep clear

I haven't hardly used the blazer. The 71 longbox i have is a work in progress. Every year i upgrade something on it and keep plowing. I would think the short wheelbase would be better personally. Actually, the blazer would look good at your place...

Here is my K2500 GMC. Just completely rebuilt front and rear axles, brakes, suspension and replaced complete cab floor, rockers, supports, etc. As of today it has plates and is now inspected, registered and road worthy for the first time in probably 15 years. These pics were taken back in 2003, though she still looks about the same today.

Jeez Guys !!!!!! That looks awful.

Reminds me of the eight miserable Winters I spent in the Chicagoland suburbs.

You ought to move to the South.

When we get snow, it's usually gone the next afternoon, and seldom ever lasts any longer than 2 - 3 days.

And NO SALT on the roads.

that don't give you much time to have any fun! your snowmobile season is shorter than ours even on a bad year

What is there today that the plow mounts would fit our trucks ? Brother has a Fisher plow for the late 70/early 80's and one for the '88 on up trucks. Will plow mounts for 73-87 fit on 71-72 4WD's ??? Custom mod's needed ?

i would thinkthat since front axels interchange frame widths must be the same so 73-87mounts should fit our trucks with little or no fab work

I bought an`84 application for my trucks and everything bolts up except a hole on each side needed to be drilled.The`73-up body is straight across the front and 67/72s have a peek in the center,so the plow mount needs to be moved forward just a bit.One hole lines up on each side.I welded a tab for the mount to hit against since it was designed to hit on the spring mount.
